About Valerie

Valerie Ann Golobic is a singer, dancer, and actress.

Education 

She is a freshman BFA Musical Theatre major at The University of Miami.

In addition to attending a rigorous BFA program, she has trained at The Broadway Collective, a rigorous musical theatre academy, where her award-winning mentors included Robert Hartwell (Broadway Collective Founder and CEO), Kate Lumpkin, CSA (Casting Director), and Joshua Burrage (Dancer/Choreographer), among others. In high school, she studied acting with Corey Agnew, Hunter Herdlicka, and Mark Christine. She studies Estill Voice Training with Kelly Burge (EMCI). She is also a certified EFP in Estill Voice Training. 

Roles and Projects

  • Played the role of Annabeth Chase in The Lightning Thief (StarStruck Theatre ‘23)
  • Played the lead role of Dorothy in The Wizard Of Oz (StarStruck Theatre ‘20)
  • Earned EFP Certification in Estill Voice Training
  • Competed in the NATS Student Competition in the semifinals in Chicago
  • Won 1st Place in the Cal-Western and SF Bay Area NATS Competition Upper High School Musical Theatre (’21)
  • Teacher’s Assistant for rising performers at StarStruck Theatre in Fremont, CA

Personal Life

When she is not performing or rehearsing, she loves working out, playing with her dogs, and watching her brothers drive race cars with her family. 

She is grateful to her parents, teachers, and musical theatre community for believing in her dreams, and for encouraging her to work hard and play big.
